Notes: They have one aim and that is to gain new technologies and they do this by assimilating new cultures into their ranks. Once a major threat to the Federation, but we seemed to have gained the upper hand with them now a little.

Assimilation: Your body is infected with nanites and these mutate your body and rewrite some of your DNA. Once assimilated you are part organic part machine and have no real control over what you do. Your thoughts become one with countless other drones known as the Collective and this is achieved via a neural link and a neurotransceiver fitted into each drone. They are controlled by the central figure the Queen. Your only duty is to serve and obey. You will no longer need to eat as your systems just require power. You will also be capable of surviving in the vacuum of space.

Vessels:
Cube - This seems to be the main type of vessel, used for exploration and attacks. It has 240 programmable sensor arrays, 24 tractor beam emitters, and 12 focused neutron beams. Multiple warp field conduits are located diagonally along all external surfaces allow the Cube to travel in any direction. The Cube is fitted with impulse drive. At least some vessels are capable of opening transwarp conduits. Cube is equipped with 36 programmable weapons arrays which are also imbedded at regular intervals across the hull. Weapons similar to phasers, photon torpedoes and other devices make this a formidable vessel. The 25 tractor emitters are able to hold multiple targets at the same time and new weapons can be created when needed. Defenses are impressive with multiple shield emitters that can be independently configured as soon as weapon types and frequencies are determined. Charged particle beams can jam all transmissions and destroy unshielded computer components.

Tactical Cube - A Class 4 tactical cube, a heavily armed vessel with its Central Plexus protected by multi-regenerative security grids.

Sphere - Its a scout/escape pod, it has transwarp coils, plasma weapons and chroniton generators.

Borg Queen Vessel - It is a diamond-shaped vessel and it capable of transwarp.

Probe - It is oblong-shaped and little else is know about it at present.
